Warburtons’ third-largest bakery was forced to halt production after a blaze tore through the Bolton plant.
Ten fire crews were brought in to tackle the blaze, which started from an oven fire yesterday afternoon.
Bread production at the factory – which employs 234 workers – will not resume until fire investigators examine the scene.
The UK’s biggest bread supplier said it would deliver bread from Warburtons’ 13 other bakeries across the country to meet demand in the area.
