Whole Foods Market has launched an online shopping service in the UK.
The US-owned organic specialist will deliver a range of hampers and fruit baskets nationwide via a new website, wholefoodsmarketonline.co.uk.
Whole Foods launched its first UK store in 2007, having acquired the Fresh & Wild chain three years earlier. It has yet to expand beyond London, racking up significant losses along the way.
However, earlier this month the company reported a double-digit rise in sales for the past three months at its flagship Kensington store. Whole Foods also reported its first group-wide quarterly sales rise in more than a year.
