Popchips hopes to make ridged crisps a healthier option with a four-strong range later this month, as the brand prepares to unveil a redesign across its portfolio.
Available in an 85g share bag (rsp: £1.99) in Crazy Hot, Smoky Bacon, Sea Salt & Vinegar and Mature Cheddar & Onion, the new Popchips Ridges will also feature a single-serve format for Smoky Bacon and Sea Salt & Vinegar (rsp: 69p/23g).
The NPD comes in response to the lack of better-for-you ridged options in the potato crisps category, according to Will Bowler, Popchips general manager for UK & Europe.
Popchips has also given its portfolio a new look to more clearly state its health credentials.
