Food importer Rondanini has rolled a range of ambient pasta and risotto meals into Tesco.
The six-strong microwaveable Toscana range, launching into 284 of the retailer’s stores next week, comprises four penne dishes - Beef Bolognese, Carbonara, Tomato & Basil and Tomato & Chilli - and Mushroom and Vegetable risottos (rsp: £1.85).
“This innovative range will satisfy the growing demand for convenience,” said Tesco grocery buyer Adam Collins.
