Frozen sarnie range is back at Iceland
Iceland is bringing back its range of frozen sandwich platters this Christmas due to popular demand.
The £5 platter contains 30 frozen sandwich quarters that have been blast frozen and was available two years ago during the festive season, but not last year.
The platters are manufactured by The Sandwich Factory, which is part of the Cranswick Group. The sandwiches come in cheese & onion, tuna & sweetcorn and ham & mayonnaise flavours.
“The sandwiches have been specifically developed to work through the freeze and thawing process and they eat just as well once they’ve been frozen and defrosted as they do when freshly made,” said a spokesman. “We don’t think there is or has been anything similar out there before. They take away the hassle and time-consuming need to make them at home.”

We tried these sandwiches at Christmas and they were an instant hit. I loved the convienience and the family loved the taste. They're not expensive and saved a lot of hassle. Great for kids parties. Can't find any anywhere at the moment and need them for tomorrow.
