Sainsbury’s is celebrating the upcoming royal wedding by exclusively stocking a limited ‘Kate & Wills’ pie made by Pieminster.

The pie, which is meant to reflect all things British, will be available in the supermarket’s stores from 23 March to 3 May. It will also be available as a wholesale product for distribution at independent food stockists.

It is made with British beef, wine, bacon, pearl onions and mushrooms, with a hint of brandy.

Pieminster has also released a new sweet pie, which has been dubbed the Royal Pear pie. It is made with poached pears, rum and Fairtrade chocolate and will be distributed via selected Waitrose stores and Ocado.
