Promo push to mark Bestway’s birthday

Bestway is celebrating its 35th birthday with what it claims is its biggest-ever promotion.

The Team 35 Drive will offer discounts on top-selling product lines and kicks off next month with deals on goods from Bestway's own-label Best-in range. Discounts on branded products are to follow.

The promotion will be supported with shelf-edge talkers, posters and leaflets. A website will allow retailers to download PoS material and information on the promoted products. Retailers could also receive rebates of up to 4%.

MD Younus Sheikh said Bestway had chosen to theme the promotion around a Formula 1 race to highlight the "winning partnership" of Bestway and Batleys. "After 35 years in business, Bestway certainly has something to celebrate," said Sheikh.

"The only reason we are in business, all these years later, is due to our customers so it is only right that we are able to give something special back to them with this high-value promotion. It is a prime example of why we stand proudly behind our strategy of helping to build business for the independents by giving them some serious cash-back amounts."
