Sales pick up the pace at Landmark

Landmark Wholesale has kicked off its new financial year with an 11.6% sales hike. The buying group, which last month reported full-year sales growth of 11.5%, said licensed had performed particularly strongly with sales up 28.4% in May.

"We're carrying on where we left off," said managing director Martin Williams.

"The signs for the coming year are very good. We've just had an excellent conference where members and suppliers were very positive about our plans for our own-label, Lifestyle Express, catering and foodservice."
