Asda looks ready to show us the Money

Asda has trademarked ‘Asda Money’, leading to speculation it is about to rebrand Asda Financial Services.

Asda has registered the trademark with the IPO under class 35, which covers financial consultancy, advisory and information. It has also registered it under class 36, covering every type of financial service, including banking, loans, credit cards and mortgages.

Asda already offers a range of insurance products such as loans, credit cards and travel money.
