Rolling out this week, the new packaging for John Smith’s Original and Extra Smooth - the first revamp for the brand since 1993
The group’s total sales were up 8.1% to €4.83bn before currency exchange rates. In the Americas, that growth rate was 18%, while in Asia Pacific, it was 21%.
Heineken saw overall beer volumes rise 3.1% and a “mid-single digit” figure in the UK as the World Cup and warm weather helped boost first half trading.
