Ella’s Kitchen is poised to sell a stake in the business.

Nestĺe and Danone have reportedly entered talks about buying a minority stake in the organic babyfood maker, although PepsiCo denied reports that it too was considering a bid. The company could be valued at up to £50m, according to the Sunday Times.

Meanwhile, organic veg box provider Abel & Cole is gearing up for another attempted sale.

The company, which is majority-owned by its major creditor, Lloyds Banking Group, is likely to have an asking price of £30m.
