Green light for Nisa demerger
Nisa-Today’s members have backed the board’s plans to demerge its retail and wholesale arms.
The buying group’s members overwhelmingly voted in favour of separating Nisa and the Today’s Group at its agm in Scunthorpe this week, paving the way for the split to take place early next year.
The plan was announced in April and the group said the move would allow both companies to better tailor their individual strategies. Today’s will continue to trade through Nisa’s central distribution and both parties will pursue joint buying or distribution opportunities if possible.
