Exclusive Spar wine launched

Spar is launching a “value for money, easy-drinking” wine range this month.

The exclusive Falcon Valley (rsp: £3.99) has been designed in conjunction with Spar’s suppliers in Spain. It will be available in red, white and rosé and promoted initially with a ‘three for £10’ mechanic.

Xenia Irwin, Spar wines trading controller, said the range would “fill a niche for customers looking for something new without breaking the bank”.

Spar branded wine sales have risen 20.8% in the last year following new label designs and improved in-store communications.
