South West Spar wholesaler Appleby Westward has launched a retailer recruitment package designed to “take the fear out of changing symbol groups”.

It has offered to pay for new fascia, window graphics and scanning systems of stores that join, as well as a £1,500 campaign when the store launches.

The company is also offering free payroll administration and free guild fees for a year. Head of store recruitment Simon Warren said the campaign was designed to take away any costs retailers might have incurred from joining.
