The consumer
The subs were pretty tasty. However, I think they would benefit from a little more of the sauce and meat. The meat in the subs seemed to be of a pretty good quality and I would choose these rather than microwaveable burgers as they normally contain meat that tastes really cheap. The bread was a little chewy and the heating instructions could be a bit clearer. I was not sure whether the sauce was meant to be heated up and if so, for how long. But all in all, it's a good product. Four stars

The retailer
This product cooks up really well. There is always a doubt in one's mind that the bread will go soggy when a product like this is microwaved, but this was not the case at all here. The subs tasted surprisingly nice and I can see the range doing very well with students and males in general. The packaging is nice and simple and the instructions are easy to follow. The only downside was the lack of substance, as I still felt hungry after finishing it. Four stars

The Grocer
Fortunately, first impressions do not last for this product. The hot subs look less than appealing out of the packet and the meat does not appear terribly appetising either. However, it microwaves up well in two minutes and the decent hunk of bread even starts to become crusty. It feels a little pricey at £1.99, and an extra topping of cheese might help the meatball variant, but this is a respectable quick-heat alternative to the everyday staple of sandwiches for workers around the country.
