Fortnum & Mason is to start selling bespoke wedding and celebration cakes inspired by its 18th-century Georgian heritage.

From 20 February, the store in Piccadilly, London, will stock six wedding cakes, including a cake inspired by the cameos loved by Queen Charlotte.

The wedding cakes start at £500, while three celebration cakes - a classic cake, an English Rose cake and a two-tiered cake - will cost upwards of £95.
