George Clooney and Meryl Streep could be tucking into a bowl of Dorset Cereals muesli on the morning after the Oscars ceremony.

The cereals supplier has secured itself a spot in the Oscars gift lounge - giving nominees the chance to add a couple of packs of its muesli to their goody bags alongside the more traditional clothes and jewellery.

“We applied to the organisers to be part of it and were tickled pink when they picked us,” said communications head Mandy Cooper.

The company is supplying 100 packs containing two boxes of cereal, a bowl and a spoon for the ceremony on 26 February - plus a postcard in the hope celebs might want to get in touch.
