Tyrrells adds Crinkly Veg to snacks range

Tyrrells is hoping to make waves in the vegetable crisp market with the launch of new bagged snack Crinkly Veg.

The mix of crinkle-cut beetroot, parsnip and carrot crisps is seasoned with rosemary and wild garlic and is available in 40g bags (rsp: 99p) and 150g packs (rsp: £2.99). These roll out from March, joining the existing veg snacks range.

Tyrrells acquired Staffordshire vegetable crisps maker Glennans at the end of 2011 and said it would focus on growing the value of its range this year. “Investing and driving NPD is key to growing the business and we’re always looking for new ways to grow the premium segment,” said Tyrrells marketing director Oliver Rudgard.
