Vodka kick for Stokes/Chase ketchup line

Premium sauce brand Stokes has teamed up with Chase Vodka to launch a ketchup with a kick.

The company claimed its new Bloody Mary Tomato Ketchup (rsp: £2.98), which contains 1% vodka, offered a mature spin on the family favourite.

MD Rick Sheepshanks said the sauce went particularly well with red meat, and added that some testers had found it was good in spaghetti bolognese.

Stokes is developing a line of sauces for brewer Adnams and produces a relish made with ale from St Peter’s Brewery.
