Colgate is launching a £1m campaign this month to drive awareness of dental health care and hygiene.

Oral Health Month will run throughout September to remind the public about the importance of keeping their teeth and gums healthy.

Backed by social media for the first time, this year’s campaign will focus on a ‘Healthy Mouth Mission’. It will include roadshows in 50 retailer locations across the UK, support in dental practices, a nationwide advertising campaign and in-store sampling.

Additionally, the brand is launching Plax Magic Children’s Mouthwash (rsp: £2.19/250ml) to coincide with the initiative. Aimed at children aged six and over, it colours teeth and plaque blue to promote the appropriate length and thoroughness of brushing until the colour disappears.
