Love in the air as Heineken launches app

Heineken is playing Cupid this month with a Facebook application called The Serenade.

The app enables Heineken consumers to send humorous personalised songs to potential partners, inviting them on a date. Available in 20 languages, The Serenade would “put love in the air” in the run-up to Valentine’s Day, said the brewer.

On 9 February, it will host Serenade Live - an eight-hour YouTube event when people from across the world can sing serenades live online.
