Lucozade Sport picks Manchester United's Ashley Young for latest TV push

Lucozade Sport is teaming up with England and Manchester United footballer Ashley Young for its new TV campaign, which kicks off next week.

The ad runs from April 30 until the end of June across TV and digital channels. It features the  ‘Faster. Stronger. For Longer’ endurance claim and will air during key matches in the UEFA European Championships.

“The Lucozade brand has a proven track record of increasing sales during major football events,” said senior brand manager Alex Saunders.

“The European Football Championships offer retailers a huge opportunity to unlock sales potential and we are supporting this by advertising to drive awareness during this key time.”

This year the Lucozade Sport team is activating a series of targeted campaigns to support its sports sponsorships, including the Premier League, the McLaren Formula 1 team and GB Boxing.

Lucozade Sport has also partnered with the England Football Team for its latest on pack offer which gives football fans the opportunity to win one of 50,000 official England footballs from 1 May to 30 June.
