Ever wondered how to make the world’s freshest pancakes? Well, free-range egg brand The Happy Egg Company claims to have cracked it with a Wallace & Gromit-style machine that makes pancakes using just-laid eggs. The Pancake-omatic, which includes household objects such as a gramophone, took four design engineers more than 200 hours to construct, and 100 more to test. It goes on display at the Design Museum in London this month.
