Fairtrade paper army marches to protect smallholders
A paper army led by mini celebrities ‘marched’ on Parliament this week on behalf of Fairtrade Foundation. Calling on the government to do more to protect smallholder farms against trade injustice, the likes of Jonathan Ross, Eddie Izzard, Amanda Holden and Tulisa are among more than 8,000 people who have signed an online petition ahead of the G8 summit in June. The petition will be presented to David Cameron.
