Grant's sends out its haggis to our heroes

Haggis supplier Grant’s will be sending Scotland’s national dish to British troops serving abroad.

The company is asking consumers to log onto its dedicated website haggisforheroes.com and nominate a serviceman or servicewoman to receive one of its canned haggis. Grant’s will pay all costs involved in sending the product abroad in time for Burns night on 25 January.

“We have already had a lot of great feedback to the campaign,” said a spokeswoman for the company, who added that Grant’s had sponsored a Burns night celebration for troops a few years ago.
