Two new lines added to Tresemmé range

Unilever is launching two Tresemmé products and giving the brand a £7.5m marketing push.

The new products - Tresemmé Heat Defence Serum (rsp: £4.38/30ml) and Tresemmé Liquid Gold Restorative Complex (rsp: £6.99/ 75ml) - mark the second wave of NPD for the £43.3m brand [SIG 52 w/e 24 December 2011] since it was acquired by Unilever last year.

Rolling out next week, Heat Defence Serum is designed to tame frizz and protect hair from heat, while Liquid Gold Restorative Complex, available from mid-March, conditions dry and damaged hair.

Investment in the brand this year includes press activity and sponsorship of TV series Britain’s Next Top Model.
