Relaunch for 1885

Tennent's 1885 export lager has been relaunched as a premium bottled beer for 18 to 34-year-old men. The old design relied heavily on Scottish cues such as tartan and thistles but the new bottles are more refined and attractive, according to InBev.

Sweet wine daily

Sweet wines from Bordeaux are to be promoted as a match for sweet and savoury dishes to reposition the wines as more of an everyday drink. Sophisticated women and younger drinkers will be the focus for the campaign, funded by the Union des Grands Vins Liquoreux de Bordeaux.

Take pride in London

Brewer Fuller Smith & Turner is investing in a burst of spring advertising to promote its London Pride ale brand. Posters, cinema and taxi adverts will run with the strapline 'Whatever you do, take Pride' from this week until the end of May to coincide with the brand's sponsorship of the London Marathon this year.
