Lakes launches Laid With Love to help charity

The Lakes Free Range Egg Company is launching a new egg brand with Cancer Research UK.

Laid With Love (rsp: £1.39) goes on sale in Booths on 8 November and will be sold in pink packs, echoing the pink ribbon of Cancer Research’s breast cancer campaign. One penny of each pack sold will go to Cancer Research, and Lakes has committed to raising at least £100,000.

Claire Rowney, Cancer Research’s head of corporate partnerships, said the new brand was a great example of “cause-related marketing”.
