Low-waste cleaning range from Eco2Life

A British business has unveiled a new environmentally friendly 'refill and reuse' cleaning range. 

Eco2Life products come in reuseable packaging and contain natural, biodegradable ingredients derived from coconut, sugar cane, vegetables and citric acid.

The range, which is manufactured in the UK by Planet Earth (Europe), includes multi-surface, glass, bathroom and floor cleaners in three formats: a starter pack of an empty 500ml bottle with a 50ml bottle of concentrated formula that must be mixed with tap water before use (rsp: £2.99); a cleaning box containing all four products (rsp: £12.50); or 50ml refills (rsp: £2.10).

The refill system used less packaging and created less waste than other ­cleaning products, said the company's chief executive, Mark Sims.

Current listings for the products include Tree of Life, Suma, Planet Organic and Big Green Smile.
