Home Bargains has beefed up its online grocery offer by adding tea, coffee and canned goods to the range of food available on its new e-commerce website.

Having trialled sales of Cadbury biscuits and boxes of Milk Tray on the website, which was launched in July, the TJ Morris-owned discounter has now expanded its food and drink offer to include four-packs of Princes tuna fish in both sunflower oil and brine, PG Tips and Tetley teabags, Nestlé coffee, various chocolate bars and multipacks of chewing gum.

Prices on the website offer hefty savings compared with the big four. Princes Tuna Fish (4x185g) is being sold at £2.99 25% less than it currently costs at Sainsbury's, Tesco or Asda. And Nestlé Café Parisien coffee (100g) is £1.99 on the Home Bargains website, 33% less than at the supermarkets.
