This year's Mediterranean almond crop is expected to be smaller than last year. The new Californian crop is also expected to be smaller, at just under 300,000t but there is still some carryover stock to ship. Prices are "reasonable", with "no space for reduction." Meanwhile, estimates from Louisiana for the current pecan crop are predicting an 86,000t crop  less than half last year's 174,000t harvest. There are similar concerns about a short crop in nearby Mexico, where water has been short. {{PROVISIONS }}
