US Grocer Winn-Dixie Stores reported a loss for its fourth quarter ending June 30.
The supermarket chain said its loss in the fourth quarter was $2.1m or 1 cent per share, compared with a year earlier when it recorded a profit of $62m or 44 cents a share.

The loss was attributed to restructuring costs. The company has closed 32 stores and expects to shut down an additional 124 by next April.

The company said it is making progress in its attempts to gain market share.
