The Youth Action Council will feed ideas to Pernod execs

Pernod Ricard has created a Youth Action Council to feed ideas and strategic issues to the drinks giant’s executive team.

A think tank made up of nine Pernod Ricard staff under the age of 30 from its operations across the world, the YAC will submit innovative ideas to the directors and highlight best practices already rolled out within the group. Each member will also be mentored by a Pernod Ricard senior executive.

“These young employees are the spokespersons of a new generation that is vital to Pernod Ricard,” said deputy CEO Alexandre Ricard.

“I want to give them the opportunity to express their opinion and to share their vision for the future of the group.

“Their recommendations will have to be rapidly transformed into concrete projects or initiatives to help the group move forward, create value and innovate in many fields.”

Council members are: assistant legal manager Yapa Thepkanjana; human resources specialist Lide Aguirrezabalaga Unamuno; digital architect Michael Joo; brand development manager Olmeca Louis Chaignaud; financial control manager Anna Wisniewska; project coordinator Diego Cantu; corporate social responsibility specialist Oksana Kostiv; assistant brand manager Laura Hogan; and communications director Amandine Robin.

The council represented Pernod Ricard at the One Young World Summit in Dublin this week. Staff who attended last year suggested a YAC to the company.
