Over a bank holiday weekend this year I went to the Hovis Facebook page to lodge a complaint.

I was surprised to find hundreds of complaints there and I added my own.

Hovis used to be the best but something has happened to it in recent years. The bread goes mouldy too quickly and when first bought is often dry and unpleasant to eat. I have stopped buying Hovis because my family do not like it anymore.

Needless to say, I have just visited Hovis' Facebook page again and there is not a single complaint there. I suspect that Supreme Foods have deleted them all.

I usually shop at Morrisons because it is nearer and I have noticed that all the Hovis brands have been on special offer for months. Is it because shoppers are not buying them?
