Didn't understand what had happened until I read this. I've been a loyal customer of Anchor butter all my adult life. Despite being mocked by foodies it always seemed better to me than anything else I could get, I assume because of the type of milk and largely grass-fed animals.
Noirmoutier butter is my next best, but impossibly expensive in the UK, so now I'm at a loss...
