Anheuser-Busch is planning to increase its global appeal by linking up with Manchester United. The leading US brewer has signed a deal with the football club for Budweiser to become its official beer and a platinum sponsor. Tony Ponturo, A-B's vice president of global media and sports marketing, said: "This deal allows us to promote our brands to millions of Manchester United supporters in dozens of international markets." Budweiser will be the exclusive beer at the club's Old Trafford stadium. The brand is also the official beer of Chelsea FC and of this year's World Cup. {{DRINKS }}
