A beer made using the Tayberry fruit is set to enter the UK off-trade.

Róisin (pronounced Rosheen) is produced by Scottish micro-brewery Williams Bros Brewing Company, which adds Tayberry - an offspring of raspberries - to give the beer its flavour and pink colour.

The beer is packaged with a modern opaque label produced in four colours by Harlands Labels, a producer of labels for alcoholic beverages and premium foods.

Mike Christie, Harlands' area sales manager, said: "Micro-brewing is an important and growing area, and I hope our experience can help smaller brands grow."
