Sparkling wine producer Green Point has launched a rosé variant into the UK in time for the summer.
The Australian wine maker has brought out Green Point Vintage Brut Rosé 2002 as a new player in the booming rosé market. It also fits into the sparkling wine segment, which had strong sales last year.
CEO Dr Tony Jordan said: "This particular prestige wine is from the 2002 vintage, which was the coolest and best since 1986."
The wine is described as having red berry fruit characteristics from Pinot Noir grapes. It will be available from next month in Oddbins, priced at £13.99.
