Morrisons has cut its fuel prices by 2p per litre on diesel and 1ppl on unleaded.

The price reduction took effect from this morning at the supermarket’s 293 forecourts nationwide.

The move is the latest in a series of fuel price cuts from the supermarket this year, with Morrisons having lowered the price of both petrol and diesel by 2ppl before the bank holiday at the end of May.

Morrisons petrol director Mark Todd said: “Once again, Morrisons is leading the way in delivering lower prices at the pumps to motorists.

“We’ve shown time and again that as soon as we can pass savings on, our customers are the first to see the benefit and that’s what we will continue to do.”
