Colgate-Palmolive has announced plans to de-list from the London Stock Exchange.

The soap and toothpaste maker is currently listed in New York as well as London. It plans to withdraw from trading on London’s main exchange on 30 June. It will maintain its listing on the New York exchange.

The news comes after Colgate-Palmolive earlier this year agreed a deal with Unilever for the Sanex shower gel brand, while Unilever took over its laundry detergent brands.

Unilever was forced to sell Sanex to gain regulatory clearance for its acquisition of Sara Lee’s European personal care business.
