Pixie Lott and the Sugababes are the latest pop heavyweights to sign up for Sainsbury’s one-day festival celebrating the upcoming Paralympic Games.

Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and X-Factor runner-up Olly Murs are also new additions to the bill.

They join Taio Cruz, The Saturdays and Chipmunk on the soundtrack to the ‘Super Saturday’ family event, to be held at Clapham Common on September 10.

Visitors can watch Paralympic sport demonstrations and take part in games such as goal ball, wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basketball. Team GB Paralympic athletes such as wheelchair tennis star Louise Hunt and swimmer Ellie Simmonds will be on hand to provide coaching tips.

"Super Saturday will be a great way to round off the summer,” said Lott (pictured). “I'm looking forward to seeing some of the Paralympics’ sports stars in action as well."

Sainsbury’s has cut ticket prices in a bid to boost attendance. It now costs £30 for adults and £20 for children, while under-fives go free. A family ticket, covering two adults and two children, costs £90.
