Surf’s average price grew 4.3% last year and volumes collapsed by a catastrophic 19.1% as consumers went for cheaper alternatives. But Unilever is not giving up on the brand; it relaunched in 2015 and this year has invested £2m in a campaign for its Clothes Care detergent range.
