The stereotypical view of men preferring drinking beer to pursuing the opposite sex will be explored in a £2m ad for Grolsch.
Three executions in the First date' series, the first of which broke this week, show the lengths a woman is prepared to go to change her date's intention of going home alone for a Grolsch.
Three different endings have been filmed to show how the date finishes, and whether the man gives into the woman's advances.
The initial burst features the man taking sanctuary in his apartment after being propositioned by the woman. Safely behind closed doors, he has a glass of Grolsch only to be interrupted by his persistent date.
Part of a £12m push behind the beer in 2003, the TV adverts are the latest instalment in the Schtop' campaign.
