The fruit-based alcoholic drinks now feature a more premium and tropical-themed bottle design and will be marketed as a prepared cocktail. However, the 4% abv liquid will remain the same.
Hannah Blackburn, brand manager for RTDs and shots at Halewood, said the "more mature" format would boost Caribbean Twist's appeal as a sharing drink amid "changing customer interest" in prepared cocktails.
"Sitting perfectly within the prepared cocktail sub-sector of the RTD category, we expect Caribbean Twist to see significant growth as the sector is currently enjoying a rapid growth."
RTD sales were up 3% to £205m last year [Nielsen].
