The most recent role held by Dubery, who takes up his new position on January 4, was at Warburtons, where he was also sales director.
He replaces Matthew Huffer who leaves in January after two years to join Nestlé Rowntree as head of convenience.
Dubery left Warburtons in May this year to pursue his career elsewhere.
During his two years in the role he was responsible for spearheading Warburtons’ drive to expand the brand’s presence in the south of England. He was also responsible for boosting sales of the Warburtons brand following the opening of its £30m bakery in Enfield, north London.
Prior to Warburtons, Dubery worked at Unilever for 15 years where he held a number of roles including customer business centre sales director responsible for setting up and heading the development of its business with Wal-Mart.
