Television presenter Lisa Snowdon will front future campaigns for After Eight Straws after signing as the face of the new chocolate brand.
Nestlé Rowntree is drawing up its 2006 marketing plans for Straws, launched in September to provide a more informal sharing occasion for the traditional dinner party treat.
The company said rate of sale was matching that of After Eights, and sales of the parent brand had not been harmed.
Sales communication manager Graham Walker said: “Lisa Snowdon epitomises the type of consumer that After Eight Straws are designed for.”
