Alcoholic drinks blasts its way to the top of the chart this week with double the percentage points of any other category. The rapid rise is due, in part, to activity on Stella Artois and Grolsch, both of which appear in the brand chart. The success of the category this week can also be attributed to a multitude of offers across a wide range of brands. Floor stacks feature quite heavily and ensure that the section dominates in store. Heinz has increased its presence this week and secures number one in the brand chart, just ahead of Coca-Cola which enters at number two. Sharwoods, Tango and Dolmio are also new entries this week.
