The sheer number of promotions available and the amount of space given over to them ensures that the category is set to continue its domination for some time to come.
The remainder of the chart continues with the same categories as last week. However, they have all changed position. Frozen moves up one place, forcing soft drinks down to number three, despite the support for this category from Coca-Cola and Fanta, which both appear in the brand chart.
At the bottom of the category chart, health and beauty overtakes household. Household is further threatened by snacks, which though outside the top five, stands less than one percentage point behind it.
