Bath Ales

Gloucestershire brewer Bath Ales has given its core range a design revamp and launched two new brews ahead of the opening of its new multi-million pound brewery next month.

New labels with a “vibrant colour palette” featuring the brand’s leaping hare mascot roll out this month, beginning with new release Lansdown IPA (5% abv) which launches into Tesco. Its rsp is yet to be confirmed.

A new 4.4% abv lager, called Sulis, has also launched into the retailer (rsp: £6/6x330ml).

The new look was “inspired by the unique and wonderful city that gives our brewery its name”, said Bath Ales. A new website will go live to accompany the makeover.

The brand, which was bought by St Austell in 2016, will open its new brewery on the site of its head office in Warmley in May, enabling it to boost production capacity to over 50,000 barrels.
