Broadland Wineries has added a range of Australian wines called Birds Eye View.
The three-strong lineup is produced by Peter Pollard of Project Wine in Australia’s Langhorne Creek. It includes a Cabernet Sauvignon Sangiovese, a Sauvignon Semillon and Shiraz Vigonier. A Chardonnay is also planned for future release (rsp: £8/75cl).
The new range would be specifically targeted at the off-trade, said Broadland Wineries.
The Langhorne Creek region was “a hidden gem producing very high quality”, added the distributor’s master of wine, Arabella Woodrow. “Project Wine has significant expertise in the region, meaning they can offer excellent value for money compared with equivalent wines from some of the better-known regions throughout Australia.”
